Zero Defects now has the ability to auto populate and/or filter issue fields by bar-code. By applying a small bar-code to the door hinge of any given room, a user of Zero Defects can now automatically populate a noted new issue with all the details of the room by simply swiping the bar-code. When returning to that room later in the process, the operator can view a list of all open issues for that room/area again by simply reading the bar-code. This means an operator performing a sweep of defecting, can quickly view and amend the list of defects for an area, without having to painstakingly enter and navigate to a particular room in the database. He/she doesn't even have to know the room name or number, the system takes them straight there!
